These two seem to be up to no good. Perhaps they are going to raid the feed bin? Or they are off to meet up with the bulls in the south pasture. Either way i think they are up to something and thought the pair of them would make a humorous, whimsical painting. This one and Gigi are being entered into a juried group show. I hope they are accepted by the herd and can congregate with some fellow paintings.
Approximately 14 X 20, transparent watercolor on Arches CP paper.
You give your animals such great expressions and personalities. Hopefully one day I can too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Renee. I just find fabulous images to work from and am grateful to the photographers who let me use their photos. My love for these guys helps too i think.
DeleteRoss, between Gigi and this one I'd say you have more than a chance. I just love them.! I've never painted a cow, but have had that in back of my mind... maybe one day... good luck,
ReplyDeletehugs, BJ
Hi Barbara. Thanks for dropping by! I would love to see the bovine you would paint. It would be awesome! I'll look for that one.. Cheers!
DeleteI love their attitude-they certainly look quite mischievous. You really captured their personalities with beautiful rich colours.
ReplyDeleteSusanne, thank you for your comment. I am encouraged always by your words. I believe we do share a love for rich colors. I love to play with my paints and see what they can do.
DeleteGreat characters in there, Ross. Fingers crossed for your success in the show xx
ReplyDeleteThanks Pat. I am still gobsmacked over your martini painting. I have my fingers crossed too as there are so many artists who try for the limited wall space at the gallery. I shall let you know!
DeleteI love your cows Ross. I'm glad you are painting more of them. I hope this one and Gigi get into the show. All of these cows seem to have some attitude. I wonder what they know that we don't...
ReplyDeleteSo nice to see you here Nancy. Thanks for confirming my cow addiction. Smile! Yes, i have to keep doing these as they just are so much fun to paint. They do seem so curious. I will let you know if they made it into the show.
