One of my first reflection paintings. I loved doing the patterns and the different shapes. It started a new path for me in a way and i ventured out to the coast several times to gather new images. Early in the morning is best when the light is fresh and new and the water still. This is a watercolor on 300 lb. Arches cold pressed paper.
You are inspiring me! Next time I'm at a lake I aim to look more closely at the reflections! This is just gorgeous! I love the patterns and shapes too! Awesome!
