"The Family"

We know a little girl who is fighting a serious illness but is surrounded by her family and friends enveloped in their love.
Their faith is seeing them through as they rest in God for strength.
When families stand together, no matter what, miracles are apt to happen,
like cows jumping over the moon.
Watercolour on Arches CP paper. 5" X 7" .

    1. Thank you Pat. I am going to send this to her for her room. She is 11 and had Leukemia. The family just found out and it is devastating for them. They are leaning on God through it all. Very strong these folks.

  4. Good afternoon Ross!... Though whimsical on the surface... your touching painting reaches beyond a cow jumping over the moon. The love of such families does that too... even in the face of the most treacherous of enemies. Our family knows that ... first hand!

Our prayers enjoin yours for your little friend and her family!

    Rich blessings to all!
    Warmest regards,
    Bruce

  5. Love it so much Ross, as always. You have a few new ones here, since I last dropped by. Cowporate ladder is a hoot! And thanks for your kind words about my latest horsie endeavour. Yes you'd best try horses. Can't wait for your take on them. Meanwhile maybe I'll paint a cow. Mine are so boring compared to yours though!

  6. Haha. That would be fun. Yes, I can try a horse and you do a cow. I'm afraid my horse would be boring compared to yours. :)

  7. Well said, Ross! I love the little details of the heart shaped apples, and then the hearts cascading down surrounding the family with love and support! The house is adorable too!

    1. Thank you Renee. This is one that kind of just came to be. I love it when that happens. I've had a few requests for prints. A charity for mental health is using it in one of their fundraisers. This makes me happy. It is touching some folks in the right way. :)
