"Cottage Country". A wee watercolour 14 X 21.
This is based on what i think an ideal place would be to enjoy winter and summer.
Our house is the tall thin yellow one way off yonder.
There's a pond out back with ducks. Must paint that some day.
I'm sending this off to Ravensburger and see what they say.
Got my fingers crossed. :)

Ross , love it . Looks like nothing but fun...You might do a summer version... I see your sending this off to something, somewhere, lol... Whatever it is I wish you luck..
ReplyDeleteThank you Barbra. I was thinking a summer version would be a good idea. Thanks for the prompt! Always helpful and i appreciate always your comments. :)
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful and so colourful painting, I love it !!!
ReplyDeleteThank you Art-Traveller
ReplyDeleteLooks like a winner to me, Ross! Love your work. I was looking back at some old work - and you've painted one that is near to where I now live - Pittenweem! It was fun to see because at that time I had no intention of moving. Funny how life works out, isn't it? Anyhow, I digress, your painting is beautiful. Plus, if you're going to paint summer, why not the four seasons? xx
ReplyDeleteThank you Pat. I used to love exploring England's coastal areas via Google Maps and get ideas for paintings. It would be lovely to go there in person and see them as they really are. So many beautiful places and i love the names. Pittenweem was one of my favourites. It is funny how life works though Pat. I am doing the thing i love the most and that is paint which i never thought would happen. The only thing missing is the sea and an income! :) Hope you are doing well and enjoying your new location. Thanks for your visit.
DeleteRoss, check out Dysart. We went there last week and when strolling along the promenade I thought of you and how you'd love it. Working harbour and a beautiful sea front street.
DeleteI'm on my way Pat. Thanks for the lead! :)
