"Cairo and Sophie"



Two new pup portraits for a family who lost them both within a month of one another. 
The first little guy is Cairo and the second one is Sophie. 
I had fun with the backgrounds once i figured out what it was i wanted there. 
Both are acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas. 
24" X 30".

      Thank you Kathryn. I like your comment, about "tender"! That is my hope always, that i am careful with the creating of their friends. They mean so much to the people who owned them.

      Thanks so much Pat. When the lady who commissioned me saw them, she began to cry. There was still a lot of grief there over their beloved pets. I was grateful for the opportunity to paint them and deeply touched that they had that impact. I have the best job! :)
