This is little Izzy. He belongs to Kerri Booth and is quite the character i am told. When i saw the photo of him on Facebook a while back i just had to paint him. He had a tough start to life but made his way to a beautiful forever home. A happy ever after indeed. This is water-colour approximately 15" X 15".
Ross this is just wonderful.. love that face, and the painting is excellent..I think artist who love animals as we do have a headstart when it comes to painting them . But the face on Jiminy beats anything I've seen.. LOL !!! Barbra Joan
Barbra i think you are right. I do love dogs especially Boxers so this little guy was not so difficult for me. Jiminy does have the best face ever. He is also a real ham which fits his appearance. I am hoping to paint him soon. Thanks for dropping by Barbra.
