"Eddie"

Meet Eddie. I had done one of her earlier in watercolour but thought her to be such a good model i had to paint her in acrylic. I lover her expression. Cows are still a favourite subject for me. I love their quirkiness and find them to be quite comical in a way. Much like my Boxers. There is a resemblance. Perhaps that is why. This is acrylic on gallery wrapped canvas, 20" X 24".

    1. Thank you Lorraine. I keep thinking i should paint a horse or a person but keep coming back to the cows. :) I've a large folder filled with pictures of ones i would like to paint and keep working my way through that. Hope you are happily painting away there. Thanks for visiting!

    1. Thank you Kathryn. I decided not to paint her purple or blue as is most often the case. Went with a normal colored cow for a change and had some fun! Thanks for your comment. Always appreciated.

    1. Christiane, so nice to see you here as always. Yes, Eddie is pretty cute. I have painted her several times. She is becoming a favourite for sure. I found her on Flickr and the owner was kind enough to let me paint her.

    1. Well hello Pat. Thanks so much for popping by. I think Eddie must have been quite a character. She is so much fun to paint. I have been enjoying the cows recently but have switched back to dogs for a bit. Oh, so many things to paint and not enough time. A village is beckoning as well. Perhaps there is one on the coast of England i can paint. Must do a google search again. :)
