    1. Hi Polly. Yes, the do pant don't they? Not so sure i could have a pug for that reason alone. :) But they are adorable and a lot of fun i am told. This one was almost 13 i believe and had a loving home and a wonderful family. We know the lady who owned her through Boxer Rescue Canada which we are involved with. I just had to paint Deja. Her image would not leave me alone. Just my way of giving back to those who are helping with so many homeless dogs. Hope you are doing well Polly. Happy Painting!

  4. Thanks so much Kathryn. I will pop over for a visit. Our new pup Jiminy is a sweet boy who almost did not make it. He was a surrendered pup who was very, very sick. A rescue group we know found him in the nick of time and rushed him into vet care. As soon as he was healthy enough we adopted him and gave him his new forever home. He is a character and is most entertaining. Life is exciting for him now and he loves each minute. This photo is from my wife who put the bow tie on him. She calls him Gentleman Jim.

  6. Yes, Padmaja i suppose she is smiling. The owners were pleased. I am always concerned that i have not captured the dog's personality. The eyes are the trick i think. Thanks for your comment and visit which are appreciated always.
